Cyberpunk 2077 makes an ominous sound to show that it’s still around

It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to suggest that Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games out there right now and that’s partly thanks to the game’s deliberate obfuscation of details. Nobody really knows anything about the mysterious futuristic game outside of the little correspondence that we got from CD Projekt RED themselves. We know that the game will be ambitious, looking to rival The Witcher 3 in its size and complexity and from a short teaser trailer we got years ago, it has a bleak Blade Runner-esque aesthetic. Other than that, there’s just nothing. And there has been nothing for the longest time.

But something is looming in the distance and faint cry has been heard throughout the world. What is this cry, you ask? Well, the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter made its first tweet since 2013 when that original trailer released:

Bit of an anti-climax, admittedly. However, outside of interviews with developers that were never really about the game in the first place, this is the first official thing we have heard about this project in a really long time and I really doubt this was an accident. Something might be coming soon and it would be about time considering development on The Witcher 3 has stopped for quite a while now. It could be an innocent little tweet from a community manager, or we might finally get the info we’ve been craving for so long. I’m hoping for the latter.

I am way too tall, played way too many games and I love to write about what we love about games. In the end, I’m just being #Thabolicious

The witcher series is not my type of game, so I’ve never played them, but I’m really hoping cyberpunk will be as good so I can finally experience a CDPR game.

  • i’m looking forward to this, though i hope they listen to some of the feedback from the witcher 3 and put in scaleable fonts. that was why i never played it. the font size [even after 1.04] was WAY too small.

Pretty much why Abigail won’t play it. -.-

      • it’s ridiculous that you have to mod it on pc. [and can’t even do it on console.]

and even then, the mod process isn’t exactly straightforward, either. [and there’s no real guarantee that it’ll work, because you might re-bake the font size as too small for you.]

their last suggestion about this – way back in 2016? was that the font size and the lines were done the way they were because of the VOICE ACTING. it’s just absurd.

“in its size” this scares me a bit , but I first want to see game play before I really get excited cause universe looks intriguing enough for a play.
