Hideki Kamiya reminds everyone why Bayonetta has become a Nintendo exclusive

It feels like somewhat of a déjà vu moment. When Bayonetta 2 was originally announced for the Wii U most of the gaming world lost their minds. How could the once PS3 and Xbox 360 game now jump ship and be exclusive to a failing Nintendo platform?! For those in the know it’s always been obvious that Nintendo funded the development of the game, but now that Bayonetta 3 is once again Nintendo exclusive the gaming world is having a hard time accepting the reality of it all.

Hideki Kamiya, the creator of the series and the man that brought you Resident Evil 2 back in the day, took to Twitter to explain the scenario once and for all. Not only do non-Nintendo fans have answers now, but he’s really shed light on what exactly took place. It’s made up of 15 tweets, so get ready.

There you have the complete story from the horse’s mouth. It’s perhaps time to stop bitching and accept that it’s now basically like crying over a Zelda game not appearing on your format of choice. Move on.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
