Stardew Valley multiplayer in QA stage

Tired of the 9 to 5 hustle and bustle of your office job? Ready to take on your grandfather’s dilapidated old farm in the country? Wait… what if I told you, the farm was completely pixelated and the horses can wear hats? Sounds good right? Since its release on PC in 2016, Stardew Valley has become one of the more popular and definitely one of the most-critically well-received indie games out there. And since its launch on the Switch in October 2017, it has not dropped out of the top 10 downloaded games on the eShop. So who am I kidding? The truth is you’ve probably already done all that; moved out of the city and built up your grandfather’s farm into your own personal agricultural masterpiece. But, you probably have not seen any horses with hats; and the good news is: that’s about to change.

Today we learned that the Stardew Valley update including a multiplayer addition is in its QA stage and so should be on the market soon.

Seattle resident and Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone, via his twitter handle @ConcernedApe, broke the news in a series of tweets:

As can be seen from the tweets above, it seems not only will will be getting some multiplayer action on our farm, but thanks to a response to a question, we also have new single-player ‘stuff’ to look forward to. Plus, as previously mentioned, hats for horses; an essential part of any equine-related gaming.

So if, you haven’t tried it yet, now may be the perfect time for you to pick up this odd, yet wonderfully interesting indie/farming simulator/RPG… ASAP.
