Happy Vrydag everyone! It must have been a bit of an acclimation period for a lot you to come back from the countless holidays to a normal five day week. We know it was for us, we still wanted to wake up and play games all day, but now we had to play games all night for work. It’s still a pretty good deal, I think. April is here in force and you can see from the new stock in clothing stores that the chill is coming. Bring it on, I say. Also, God of War is in our immediate futures and I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to go to Valhalla.
We’ve been producing content like there’s no tomorrow this week. For reviews, Garth has some giant disappointments with Extinction and returned to the land of sand in Assassin’s Creed Origins – Curse of the Pharaohs, Dawid looked like a disco gun-warrior in Time Carnage and also went super in Injustice 2: Legendary Edition. Zain also reluctantly rode some waves in Kirby Air Ride. Dawid took on those mad people who say Nintendo is only for kids and Timeteo took us on a history tour of gaming’s early years and showed us five of the most famous gaming mascots. The Burning Question this week asked SOLDIER or SeeD?
Now for the winner of the mighty Injustice 2: Legendary Edition. Who will use be oddling Batman’s beefy utility belt in their near future? Well, that’s none other than:
Congratulation to Alexander for winning this week’s fantastic prize! We’ll be in contact with you soon to get your prize to you. Enjoy galavanting with the Flash and crew.
Thanks to Ster Kinekor for sponsoring this week’s prize!
It’s already halfway through April and the PS4 gamers have some big things to look forward to. But if you don’t have a PS4, have you seen all the games that you can by? Just buy The Witcher 3 and play it. If you’ve bought it already, buy it again. Like I have. On a bit of a tangential note, does it also feel to any of you that we’re right on the edge of some major stuff happening? We got rumours circulating about the PS5, Xbox’s E3 showcase needs to be dynamite this year, some of the TBA games are getting their release dates soon. Things may be relatively quiet now, but I think we’re in for quite a ride this year, folks. So strap in, we’ll take you on this ride with us.
Free Games Vrydag returns next week! Before you ask, it’s not God of War (we’re trying) but we got some creatures fighting in a tournament if you’re interested.
