The rumour mill has been quite busy recently in respect of upcoming Pokémon Switch titles with the latest being two new domain names being registered: Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go! Eevee. It’s been said that the same company which registered the domains for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon is, in fact, the same company who has now registered these new domains.
There is also talk about these new games not only being remakes of the original Pokémon hit Pokémon Yellow, where your Pokémon would follow behind the player on the screen during exploration, but also talk about integrating these new games with the world hit mobile wonder Pokémon GO. Along with the integration we might also see new peripherals that’ll connect the Switch Pokémon titles to Pokémon GO. Now having said all this please do keep in mind that just as with everything on the interwebz we have to take it all with a pinch of salt especially being this close to E3.
The only real thing that has been confirmed thus far is the domain names being registered which could possibly never come into existence but may just be a placeholder for future use by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Whatever the case and rumours may be though I am still excited to see what Nintendo reveals at E3 in a month’s time and also crossing fingers for news on their “mainline” Pokémon game that they announced that they were working on for the Nintendo Switch last year.
