One thing that can be said about the Tekken series of fighting games is that it is weird. It brings with it a lot of character customisation that its peers don’t necessarily have. It is because of this you might end up with some of the most outrageous, or even distracting opponents to fight. And the silly seems to be continuing nearly a year after Tekken 7’s release.
Director of Tekken 7, Katsuhiro Harada, announced on Twitter that on 31 May, the game will be getting a free content update that will include a ton of customisation content. This is to celebrate the One Year Anniversary of Tekken 7:
To TEKKEN community.
Update of FREE Content will be released (May 31).
Story Mode Costume Set, Player Customization Set, NJPW Pro-Wrestling Set, and other content will be available for free!

The update won’t change much in terms of gameplay but to give its dedicated fanbase some new stuff is really cool. Tekken 7 is a really solid fighting game, and getting all the extra loot and costumes for your character does add some incentive to continue playing. Now to log in and see if they have something cute for my bae Asuka.
