E3 2018: Gameplay capture – Lego DC Villains

What is this? Some Lego goodness? In the latest TT Games adventure, the villains are getting a chance to have some fun. DC has some of the best villains around with some great and fun stories just waiting to be told. Instead of following a movie or a comic book event, TT Games is putting the player front and centre in Lego DC Villains with the idea of ‘what if you were right there among your favourite baddies?’ So enter rookie, the new villain on the block who happens to have some crazy hidden power up his sleeve.

You make your own character choosing from heads, legs, attachments and whatever you want to make the perfect supervillain. I picked superspeed with fairy wings, but I don’t think the wings did anything except look great. As you play the game you will unlock new powers and parts, the first of which is the ability to destroy golden bricks. You get to pick if you shoot out of your eyes, a hand, your chest and what it looks like too, eventually building up your ultimate character.

Here is some gameplay from the first level of the game, with Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor and can you recognise any of the other voices? I think I can sense something.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
