Whenever a game becomes super popular and includes tools for you to create your own concepts you see the most wonderful ideas coming to life. We’ve seen this is the past with LittleBigPlanet and also see it on a daily basis in GTA V. The next game for some talented people to play around in is Fortnite. Thanks to the recent Playground update we have seen people come up with all forms of interesting ways to bring more appeal to the game, now we have a Mario Kart level.
Recreating a Mario Kart level might sound a little weird and that’s because it is. Instead of having karts to drive around in, you’ll be pushing trolleys around the course. There’s no drifting, which means the controls look a little clunky. There are however weapon pick-ups like guns and bricks, but you don’t ever see it being used in the below video. We guess the creators were having far too much fun racing each other around the level they had built from the ground up called Tilted Towers.
Get a look at what these guys got up to. The next Mario Kart? Not likely, but it’s definitely an original idea in the world of Fortnite. Expect Epic Games to release a car pack at some point…
