Something really interesting that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be featuring is a central hub area called Paititi, a hidden civilization untouched by the modern world. It features a large city and it is filled with things to do such as side missions, quests and challenge tombs.
What makes it really interesting is the way language works, you learn the local vernacular by deciphering murals scattered around the world, and you even have an option to change the language they speak from English (or whatever language you play) to the original language of the natives for a more authentic feel. The hub world also features side quest and challenge tombs which can award you with some extra loot if you decide to take them on. You also have the ability to adjust the game’s difficulty to suit your play style, and things like exploration, puzzles and combat can be adjusted independently.
The central hub of Paititi will certainly add a lot of value and hours to the gameplay of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The game is set to release on 14 September on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
