Sony has been releasing limited edition console after limited edition console since launch. This year we saw the God of War version and we also have the Spider-Man PS4 Pro incoming next month. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but we have a feeling that some of you might agree with us that their latest limited edition console is by far the prettiest of the lot.
To celebrate 500 million consoles sold since the PS1 launched Sony is launching this limited edition that will have a limited number supply of 50,000. Each console will have the unique number etched on to it. The box it comes in, like the console, is transparent and so is the Dualshock 4 controller supplied alongside it. It also comes with a camera – not sure why that has been included, but if you have a VR unit in your future and plan to buy the bundle without a camera then this could be the one to own. The cherry on top is that it comes with a 2TB HDD, which is the perfect amount of space to start with. A gold wireless headset will also be sold separately that’ll tie in with the colour scheme.
The 25th-anniversary console, that resembled the PS1 colouring, got shipped to our country, so don’t be surprised if we receive some limited stock in SA of this bundle.
Here is an unboxing, just in case you need some arm twisting:
