Some things you want to experience more than once, but you can’t really. Because life doesn’t have a replay option or a new game or a load feature. You would think after all this time the developers of life would have added a load game option. If you want to experience the joys and revelations of God of War all over again, the New Game+ mode launches on August 20.
In New Game+ you can keep your old gear and fight against tougher enemies. You can also skip cinematics, but why would you want to do that?? Some enemies have new tricks up their sleeves and while you might be wondering why you want to do this, a new crafting resource will drop, unlocking a new tier of gear.
Here are the notes from the PlayStation Blog:
- Relive the journey of Kratos and Atreus with all of your previous armours, enchantments, talismans, resources and abilities on the difficulty of your choosing.
- Test your skills against higher level enemies; some of which might even have a few new tricks up their sleeves!
- Unique to New Game+ is a brand new rarity level of equipment to craft and upgrade! Collect ‘Skap Slag’, a new resource to upgrade your gear to the best of the best from our finest blacksmiths.
Play the game in a whole new way by exploring new customization options with extremely powerful new armour sets and enchantments.
- Finally, get right back into the action with the newly added ability to skip through cinematics in both normal and New Game+ modes once a full playthrough has been completed.
New gear and challenges sound rather tasty, and I am looking for an excuse to go back because I finished the game before the photo mode was added and I need some pictures of Dad of War.
