Sorry Spyro fans, but you’re going to have to wait two additional months before you can play Spyro Reignited Trilogy on PS4 and Xbox One. The game has seen a delay to 13 November. This news comes directly via Activision and Toys for Bob. The reason, accordingly to them, is purely to ensure that the best quality game is released.
I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar, and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.
It’s never a problem to see a game get more attention, but we also wonder if (by November) we’ll now see all three games fitting on to one disc, instead of just the first outing, as we’re sure this news affected physical game pre-orders. Another reason could be that November is actually looking rather quiet this year when compared to September, so the delay could make perfect business sense.
