Destiny 2 has been getting a lot of talk over the last week or so, and the main reason for it is the aggressive marketing and PR campaign that Bungie’s got going for the next expansion, Forsaken.
The expansion is launching on 4 September, but there’s a lot else going on at the moment. Gambit, the game’s new “PvEvP” game mode will be available to try out tomorrow, and we might get a lot of people more people giving it a bash since the base game of Destiny 2 became available to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
The one problem though is figuring out the times for everything going on, so here is the breakdown according to Bungie.net. These are the times in Central Africa Time:
Gambit 24-Hour Trial
Begins: 7 PM CAT, 1 September
Ends: 7 PM CAT, 2 September
Bungie also details the actual launch times and schedules of Destiny 2: Forsaken, which is as follows:
Destiny 2: Forsaken Launch
Servers Downtime: 4 PM CAT, 4 September
Day 1 Patch available: 4:30 PM CAT, 4 September
Game Launch: 7 PM CAT, 4 September
Something that a lot of Destiny players always wants to know as well is when the new Raid will be available. Bungie indicated that the new Raid, “Last Wish” will only open up on 14 September at 7 PM CAT. There are high expectations for Forsaken, and we really hope that ol’ Bungo manages to pull this one off. It looks very promising, but then again, so did the original campaign. Let’s hope for the best.
