Here are your Nintendo Online NES games October through to December

Nintendo is doing what Nintendo does best, and that is selling their 30-year-old titles back to you for the umpteenth time. Should you own a Nintendo Switch and would like to play games online, you now need a Nintendo Online subscription. This gives you access to many great features, as we detailed here. The part of the service that stands out most is perhaps the NES offering.

These games can be downloaded as one app and will receive new games on a monthly basis. Nintendo released a video detailing some of the games last week, but now they have provided a list that shows off the entire selection of games that will be added to the service from October through to December.

Double Dragon (SP)
Gradius (SP)
NES Open Tournament Golf
Solomon’s Key
Super Mario Bros. 3 (SP)

Dr. Mario (SP)
Metroid (SP)
Mighty Bomb Jack
Super Mario Bros. (SP)

Adventures of Lolo
The Legend of Zelda (SP)
Wario’s Woods

SP refers to ‘Special Edition’, so we’re not 100% sure what exactly that means. We had a look and the October titles are still not available to download. We’re not sure when Nintendo will update the list of games on the NES app, but every Thursday at around 4.30 pm Nintendo updates the eShop with new titles. We’re hoping it’ll change up then.

You’ll find the original reveal below:

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
