What’s better than your daily fix of a juicy rumour? Especially when it comes from the guys over at Rockstar. When you think about it, we’ve only had a port in this generation (in the form of the fantastic GTA V) and the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar. There hasn’t been all that much because, firstly, it takes a long time to develop a new engine and, secondly, GTA V is making them so much money that they’re really in no hurry to launch more games. That said, we have our first real bit of information for Bully 2.
There have been casting calls from Rockstar that point to a sequel for the series that’s only seen one outing. The game will be a “new unannounced video game title with a leading UK games developer, shooting at Pinewood Studios” and “Mild violence and profanity will be used in scenes with the young performer. The project itself is a thriller/drama and all scenes with the young performer will be handled with sensitivity”.
According to Rockstar Intel there is more to this casting call and have kept a close eye on developments.
The casting calls are mainly for teenage and young roles, and involve placeholder names for the characters. The casting call actually provides a warning and some vague detail about the project.
No guessing what Rockstar is working on next. It’s just been added to a long-standing rumour now, but I think it’s quite true. If not I’m willing to take ‘ses van die bestes’.
