Happy Vrydag you scrumptious beasts of beauty! How was the week? Did you get some good gaming in? I sure hope you did because otherwise, what are we doing here? October has been, predictably, rather hectic and the games are just flying into our faces and the FOMO is reaching spectacular heights. I wouldn’t have it any other way as more good games in our lives is nothing to complain about. We can always pick some up in a sale later on. Us review plebs have been quite busy and I foresee some sleepless nights in the future for your resident SA Gamer crew. But if all we sacrifice is sleep in order to get you the best coverage and reading material out there, then let it be so.
We’ve been moderately busy this week as always. For reviews, Ash was dealing with some oily men in WWE 2K19, Zain went on an anime adventure in The World Ends With You: Final Remix, Dawid slid around in the sand in Dakar 18 and also blasted into the past with the legendary Super Metroid. The Burning Question asked if you get anxiety while playing online games and Tim showed us four great local multiplayer games.
We had another impressive turnout this week and competition has been fierce. Don’t feel too bad if you’re not our lucky winner today, the starting line was practically brimming with competitors. But there can only be one that takes the pole position and that’s none other than:
Congratulations to Elroy for winning this week’s hotly contested prize! We’ll be in contact with you soon to get your prize to you and have fun driving through the leaves and snow.
Thanks to our friends at Xbox South Africa for this wonderful prize!
And so, we go once more into the fray. It’s exciting times we live in, folks. In a few weeks, we’ll be getting the hotly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 and it’s going to be a doozy. Prepare to tighten your bootstraps and consider walking around in denim because you might think it’s cool. There are also many other games to look forward to and you bet we’ll be having reviews for all of them so make sure you keep an eye on the site so that you don’t make any foolish purchasing decisions. We’re here for your wallet, but not in the mugger way. Make sure to keep in touch on the social media platforms, right here in the comments and consider joining the fracas in the forums. It’s always a good time over there.
