It appears to be a day of game reveals that are fraught with spoilers if you didn’t play the previous title. If you aren’t up to date with Dragon Age: Inquisition, you might want to wander off and well, go play it now?
It has been a long wait for Dragon Age fans, with a four-year gap since Dragon Age: Inquisition. Now we have a cryptic teaser and it doesn’t even reveal the title of the next game. It just ends with #TheDreadWolfRises.
You can hear Solas say “So, you’ve found me at last. I suspect you have questions…” while we see an artwork depicting Solas staring up at an arch-daemon. There is also an item full of red lyrium, which could be the idol that was stolen by Barthrand. We learnt in Dragon Age: Inquisition that Solas is actually the Elven god of betrayal Fen’Harel and that he gave Corypheus power while he regained what he lost in his long slumber. Fen’Harel is also known as the Dread Wolf so it looks like we will have our work cut out for us dealing with him.
