A new world approaches, Hunters. Yesterday, Capcom announced a “massive” expansion that will be coming to Monster Hunter World. Titled, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. In a short, almost two minute trailer we see four hunters in pursuit of the King of the skies, the Rathalos. However, as they approach the end of the island, the Rathalos soars out of reach. Over the ocean. As the trailer concludes we see a distant land. A land of ice, and a new threat. A threat that veteran hunters will know as the Nargacuga.
In addition, the end of the trailer gives even more information. New quest rank, fans suspect G-Rank, new monsters, new locations, new moves and, perhaps, hunter arts and styles. There will also be new equipment and a new story – one that begins after the events of Monster Hunter: World. The expansion is only set to arrive Fall of 2019 which means the second half of next year. However, if that’s too far off for you, there is more exciting news. A new collaboration is coming to the Monster Hunter world in early 2019. It’s a crossover that’s been high on the list for a long time – get ready to enter the world of Monster Hunter World as Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!
