Yakuza Kiwami coming to PC in February, according to gif

It’s wonderful that the weird and wacky world of Yakuza is finally coming to the PC in all of its glory. PC gamers got to experience the genesis of Kiryu and Majima with Yakuza 0 finally heading to PC and it seems the series wants to carry on releasing on the platform. SEGA has been going pretty hard on PC lately with the release of classics such as Catherine, Bayonetta and obviously the Yakuza series.

Yakuza Kiwami, which is a remake of the first Yakuza game, has been out on console for a while now, but is yet to appear on PC even if we do know that it will eventually come to the platform. However, it may seem like we have a release date which comes to us in the form of a gif featuring everyone’s favourite mad dog, Majima, emerging out of a manhole and giving an adorable smile. The gif appears on the game’s Steam page all on its own and for an extremely brief split second at the end, a date flashes up. February 19th.

This was probably SEGA’s cute way to announce the release date before it’s actually official and it won’t surprise me either since they’ve done a lot of similar stunts for their other PC ports. Funny cryptic gifs aside, it’s great that SEGA is fully embracing the PC platform and has been focused on getting their classic games on there.

I am way too tall, played way too many games and I love to write about what we love about games. In the end, I'm just being #Thabolicious
