Anthem public demo exceeded Bioware’s expectations

Anthem has been a bit of a hit and miss experience for many players. Those who got access to the VIP demo mostly walked away with egg on their face, having stared at a loading screen more than anything else, while the public demo had a much smoother outcome.

According to their official blog the feedback from players were ‘overwhelmingly positive’ after logging in over 40 million hours in the two sessions. So what now? Well, they’re hard at work on getting the game ready for launch, along with the planned post-launch content update.

There’s so much more than you saw in the demo and we can’t wait for you to play it. We’re also very hard at work on exciting post-launch content. You saw a small glimpse of it in the game Sunday. We’ll have much more to share on that soon.

Be sure to get a look at their favourite customised Javelins below:

Anthem launches on 22 February for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
