A game that is flying under the radar for most at the moment is Left Alive. It’s a new survival action shooter IP from Square Enix that comes with a very distinct Japanese flavour. As expected it’ll come with its own unique collector’s edition that includes a beautiful mech figurine.
There is quite the dream team working on Left Alive. Toshifumi Nabeshima (director, Armored Core series), Yoji Shinkawa from KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS (character designer, METAL GEAR series), and Takayuki Yanase (mech designer, Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Xenoblade Chronicles X) have all combined their skills to bring you a game that screams ‘Metal Gear Solid meets Armored Core‘.
In the collector’s you’ll get the following:
- DLC Survivor’s Pack
- Steelbook Case
- 80-page Hardback Art Book
- Volk Action Figurine (interchangeable accessories, weapons and hands)
The bad news – there are only 3,000 of these being produced worldwide, so you’ll have to be quick if you would like yourself a copy of this.
If you missed the gameplay trailer, be sure to check it out below. The war zone of Novo Slava will require careful planning, but it’s up to you to go with a stealth or attack approach. Dialogue options will also change the outcome of the story, while an emphasis on saving civilians will require your attention. We’re not sure if this’ll meet the standards of most modern shooters, but it surely does come with all the influence fans of Japanese games are craving.
Left Alive goes on sale 5 March for PC and PS4.
