I genuinely don’t understand why you’d want to play in New Game+ in the latest Assassin’s Creed games. They’re absolutely monstrous experiences on gigantic maps filled with all kinds of question marks and it’s already in the double-digit hours in terms of its story. To do it all again but with all your gear and experience just sounds like you have too much time on your hands, but I won’t question what the gaming community wants.
New Game+ was announced for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but they did it with a meme. Here it is:

Yeah, the social media manager for the Assassin’s Creed Twitter account is a memester. The post confused a lot of people because it didn’t explicitly state that the mode is for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Some even believed it was for the new Assassin’s Creed 3 remaster, but Ubisoft cleared it up and said that it was for Odyssey.
The mode shouldn’t take too long to come out and Ubisoft will detail the mode more going forward, but we all know what it will be about already. What I hope they do is enable you to play a new game as the character you didn’t pick at the start which will definitely make more sense if you’re going through the game again. Playing as the other character but with all of your hard-earned gear sounds like a decent idea.
