Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is heading to the Switch

It feels like you can’t go a day without hearing news of a game going to the Switch, but sometimes you look and go “oh sweet”. Back in the 90s there was a shooter that caught the attention of many as you ran around shooting dinosaurs, giant mosquitoes and dinosaurs wielding guns. Yep, that’s Turok: Dinosaur Hunter in a nutshell.

Turok was released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1997 and many remember it rather fondly. If you loved Turok, or perhaps missed out on the N64 back then, the game is heading to the Switch on March 18.

Turok 2 is also coming to Switch, but no date has been marked for that one.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2 were ported to Xbox One last year, but now you can have it on a Nintendo console, if you are so inclined. Because who doesn’t want to run around hunting dinosaurs while waiting in a queue in the bank / post office / place where people queue?

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
