Divinity: Original Sin 2 is getting free DLC throughout 2019

Divinity: Original Sin 2 release to rave reviews, fans went crazy for it and it’s being heralded as one of the best RPGs you can play right now. The game originally released back in 2017 and in the meantime, it has released on consoles as well and has received quite a bit of support from Larian, the game’s developer.

However, the game is getting old now and you’d think support would dwindle. You will be wrong about that since Larian is giving players something called “Gift Bags”. Gift Bags are not loot boxes and only contain nice customization options for your characters with hairstyles, faces, all that good stuff in order to make your warrior fetching.

It’s not mind-blowing in terms of scope or quality, but it’s a nice addition for hardcore fans of the game. What’s more is that these Gift Bags are totally free for anyone who owns the game and they plan on releasing them all through the year. The second Gift Bag is already on its way and it will come out at an unspecified date.

It’s always great to see developers actually care about their community and while the game might not be super profitable anymore, supporting it with these small events is great to have its legacy continue for years on end. And Divinity: Original Sin 2 is definitely a game that deserves that.

I am way too tall, played way too many games and I love to write about what we love about games. In the end, I'm just being #Thabolicious
