With GDC a week away and Google having a “vision of the future of gaming” keynote, eyes have been on the tech giant waiting for any other news. In the early hours of this morning, Jade Raymond tweeted that she has joined Google as a VP.
Raymond didn’t specify what she is vice president of and when someone asked her to clarify, they got a winking emoji. Maybe she is VP of a soon-to-be-announced wing of Google, which we will probably hear more of at GDC.
Raymond used to work at Ubisoft, where she was a producer then executive producer on the first two Assassin’s Creed games, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Watch Dogs. She later moved to Electronic Arts where she worked on Star Wars projects. She left last year in October.
Now the question is whether Google can keep everything under wraps until that GDC keynote on the 19th.
