Path of Exile’s PS4 release is around the corner

Grinding Gear Games, the company behind the popular hack and slash Path of Exile, announced that the game is releasing on PlayStation 4 on March 26.

The free-to-play action RPG has proven to be really popular, giving many players what they feel is a true successor to Diablo II, with many different build options, system interaction and experimentation, and a grim, dark world.

On the PC side, Path of Exile just released its latest league, Synthesis, which has players helping a poor soul regain his memories, which involves running through dungeons and finding memory stabilising anchors before the level crumbles around you and kicks you out.

For everyone that now gets the chance to try Path of Exile for the first time as it hits consoles, get ready for a game that might just swallow you up whole. With its massive passive tree and the way skill gems can link to various support gems to modify spells and attacks, there is so much going on in this game and room for experimentation.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
