Do you enjoy building things? Do you enjoy taking raw materials and working them into functional machines or complex technology? What about building things that build things to build things? It isn’t just me that gets a right kick out of building something out of nothing, and you can also start turning a prime piece of alien real estate into a massive multi-story tribute to automation in Satisfactory.
Satisfactory has been in development for 2 and a half years and yesterday the game hit early access so you too can live your dreams of building something meaningful and cool with your own (digital) hands. Made by Coffee Stain Studios, the developers behind Goat Simulator and Sanctum, Satisfactory should satisfy your need for conveyor belts, lush alien planets and that awesome orange glow as you build things with your technowhatsits from FICSIT Incorporated.
The launch trailer gives a great idea of what the game is about, and you just have to love the attention to detail in small animations of your character with various tools, a lot like how Doomguy was given character without lines but by interacting with guns and the little miniatures of himself you found on levels.
Satisfactory is available on the Epic Games Store on PC for $27.
