It’s odd that in the year of our Lord 2019 a topic of discussion is whether or not a game publisher will be at E3 or not. Since Sony and EA made the surprising move of just skipping E3 altogether, we started to fear that our old E3 mainstays will also pull out of the event and make it kind of pointless to witness. However, Bethesda is still coming and our old friends Ubisoft will also be there with their presentation.
It’ll happen on Monday June 10th at 1:00 pm PST (which is around 10 pm for us) and you can probably expect the usual from Ubisoft. Skull & Bones, Beyond Good & Evil 2, some more content for their existing games and probably some new surprises along they way.
Ubisoft’s conference was always heavily cringy at the start with their millennial targeting and “hip” presenters that are also 40 years old. But the last couple of years have been great with some heartfelt moments, cool reveals and just a general lovely vibe coming from the often ridiculed company. I’d love to see some new IPs this year and I’m also praying for Watch Dogs 3 to get some sort of announcement. What are you hoping for this year?
