VA-11 HALL-A is coming to PS4 and Switch soon

Imagine being a game that takes thought and concentration to be spelt out. At least you stand out with a name like VA-11 HALL-A. The game is a bit of an anomaly. It’s essentially a visual novel game where you’re a bartender in a cyberpunk-themed bar that gets visited by all manner of crazy people.

The game’s novel nature and good writing sets it apart from most of the other visual novel trash we get and it’s not entirely without gameplay as you have to mix drinks for the patrons of your cyberpunk bar. The game was originally just on PC and moved over to the Vita soon after. The PS4 and Switch versions of the game have been announced for a year now, but they never saw the light of day. Now we know the release date: 2 May. Less than a month to go.

In an industry full of action games and competitions to see who can go the most extreme, a low key bar simulator with some good dialogue is exactly what the soul needs. Thankfully there will be a version for everyone soon.
