Hide your wallets, Fortnite figurines are here

I might not be the biggest Fortnite player, but yesterday I saw a whole bunch of the characters as toys and well, hide your wallets or consider Christmas gift shopping done already.

Prima Toys is bringing a range of Fortnite Battle Royale figurines into South Africa to perhaps terrified screams of parents everywhere. At the event, it was amazing to watch a group of what I think were high school students perk up at the mention of Fortnite, and slowly peer around the corner to see what was going on. I bet teachers wished they listened so attentively in class.

The figurines are pretty small, at 5cm tall, with two to three points of articulation. Each one comes with a stand and two accessories, so you can mix and match until you have the best weapon and Back Bling. Their hands all have space for a small rectangle and the weapons all have a small rectangular part to hold, so you can switch around easily without breaking fiddly hands or weapon parts.

Oh and you get sections of wall too, so you can build your own tower for your figurines to be displayed, or to shoot each other on.

The first wave of figurines by Moose is in stores now, 16 figurines with skins like Skull Trooper, Drift, Brite Bomber, Carbide, Omega and Ragnarok. The collection will be around 100 figures by the end of the year. You can find them in toy stores and retailers, or visit Prima’s website.

The prices are:

R129.99 for a single pack

R249.99 for a 2 pack

R399.99 for a 4 pack

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, a line of 12cm tall figurines with more detail and more points of articulation is launching in June.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
