Yakuza Kiwami 2 is officially punching its way to PC

You have to wonder why after all these years PC players still get a raw deal when it comes to some titles, such as Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption series and SEGA’s much-beloved Yakuza series. At least when these games do finally appear on PC it generally comes with improved features and stats. The good news is that Yakuza Kiwami 2 is now officially heading to PC on 9 May.

SEGA has warmed up to the PC scene in a big way in recent times with Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami (the remake of the first game) and Yakuza 6 launching on PC. They announced the news via Twitter and a press release.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is remade from the ground up in the Dragon Engine, first introduced in Yakuza 6, making it the best-looking Yakuza on PC yet. Enjoy endless hours of side stories including updated minigames like Cabaret Club simulator and Clan Creator, and new additions like Virtual On, Golf Bingo, and Toylets. Kiwami 2 also includes a few chapters developing the backstory of fan favourite Goro Majima. Pre-purchase Yakuza Kiwami 2 now and receive the complete Clan Creator Bundle DLC, including super rare Clan Creator Leaders and Packs, exclusive weapons, outfits and more!

Let’s hope we see Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 making their way to PC before those three titles makes little sense to anyone.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
