Frostpunk is bringing cold and despair to console

Later this year, console players will be able to experience the strategic brilliance of Frostpunk. 11 bit studios announced that the society survival sim is heading to consoles by the end of the year, letting more people experience the unique joy of trying to fight against the elements and watching as all the people under your command die or revolt or bend to your will.

Frostpunk is a blend of narrative choice and consequence with strategy management. Build a city big enough for the last survivors on this deadly frozen world and try to eke out an existence against terrible odds and the cold. My word does it get COLD.

Lead designer Kuba Stokalski said that the game should be ready for a summer release, meaning we will be able to play a game about fighting the cold when it is nice and chilly.

The console edition will include all the free DLC that was added to the PC version, from new scenarios and tweaks to more difficulty settings for those who want to push their management skills to the brink. Just remember, sawdust in the food might fill bellies, but causes many other problems too.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
