Everything is better with friends, right? Entire game franchises depend on you taking on the world, or maybe a campfire kitchen, alongside your friends. While some games should be kept to
Say hello to the Superbug Initiative, where you, your friends, and people across the world will collaborate to complete challenges and unlock in-game goodies. It is, however, only in beta right now and can only be accessed if you’ve achieved One Star in Mitton University. One of the in-game additions you’ll be able to unlock via the Initiative is the Ectovat, which is a bit like a handheld Hoover-based Ghostbuster-esque item.
Why would your ̶d̶i̶s̶a̶s̶t̶e̶r̶-̶f̶i̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ amazingly run hospital want an Ectovat? Well, fill that bad boy up and your staff can tap into the ectoplasm’s energy boosting powers.
Patients too can top up their health! It’s a brilliant way of making the dead do something useful for once
Along with the ability to rope in random strangers to get free stuff comes the ability to add your own music to the game. Apparently that’s been a very sought after feature… Why not ply your own music in the background? Anyway, you have now received the ability to add your music to the list via the Audio settings in-game.
If you’d like to be part of the beta for the Superbug Initiative, follow the steps the dev team gives:
Rightclick on Two Point Hospital in your Steam library.
- Click on properties.
- Click on the BETAS tab.
- Select twopointhospital_patch_beta from the drop-down list.
But if you’d rather wait, the whole thing will be released fully in the next couple of weeks! As for the music feature, I believe it is available as we speak, so enjoy!
Two Point Hospital and all its DLCs are available on PC and Linux.
