The time has come to settle some debates. Who is the most lethal character in a video game in existence? Thanks to the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat 11 we’ve tied in our character battle with all the Mortal Kombat 11 fighters (23 in total) along with many other familiar faces to bring it to a grand total to 60 kombatants. Make sure to check back every day (that is not a public holiday) to decide on who you think should win each round.
Every day we’ll host a new set of kharacters to vote for, whereof only the winner will go through to the final round on 2 May. In the final you’ll get to vote for ten finalists who will be crowned as the ultimate Kharacter Battle Champion on 3 May.
With Mortal Kombat 11’s recent launch, we will be giving away two Mortal Kombat 11 hampers to two lucky winners that consists of the following:
- Mortal Kombat 11 game (PS4/XBO)
- Mortal Kombat 11 Key Chain
- Mortal Kombat 11 Cap
- Mortal Kombat 11 Bottle Opener
How do I win?
We’re going to keep it real simple. Take part in the discussion here on the site in the comments in any or all of the rounds over the next three weeks (sorry, Facebook, Twitter and the forum comments won’t be considered) and you’ll gain yourself an entry. Winners will be drawn and announced on Friday, 3 May. Should you win you’ll get to choose the format of your choice between PS4 and Xbox One.
Good luck and enjoy the Mortal Kombat 11 Kharacter Battle!
Sonya Blade (MK11)
A member of Earthrealm’s Special Forces, Sonya Blade has been around since the very first Mortal Kombat game and has seen everything unfold for many years now. She is now in the position of being the commander of several operations. The first lady in the MK roster is also one of the most deceptive fighters. She has access to several military weapons but to date her kiss (of death) is probably still the most potent mix in her arsenal.
Tiny Tina (Borderlands)
It takes guts and grit to survive in Pandora and Tiny Tina doesn’t just survive, she is somehow having a party. She is tough, street smart and knows way more than any teenager should know about explosives. If that wasn’t enough, she has a tendency of riding around on Brick’s shoulders throwing explosives everywhere when they need to clear out a fort.
Lara Croft (Tomb Raider series)
Is there any lady in gaming quite as successful as Lara Croft? Our heroine has a pair of deadly pistols by her side at all times, but is also very much at home with a bow, shotgun, assault rifle, grenade launcher and any other form of weapon you can think of. Her pain threshold is likely better than just about any other contestant, which means they should never let their guard down against a person who never gives up.
You get powerful and then you get catastrophic overpowered beings. Cetrion is new to the world of Mortal Kombat, but she so happens to be the sister of Shinnok (who got killed in Mortal Kombat X) and daughter of Kronika. That alone won’t make her a threat. She dominates Nature and Life – Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Hell’s Wrath, Deadly Winds and Tendril Pull are just some of the devastating moves her contestants will have to deal with. No, it’s not looking good for anyone, but her.
Joseph Seed (Far Cry 5)
Joseph Seed is charismatic, clever and to his people, a messiah. Surrounding himself with those who would die for his cause without a second thought, and a whole family of powerful fanatics to make sure that his vision comes to pass, you are going to have a hard time getting close to him. Armed with Bliss, Joseph can make you hallucinate, then he influences what you see.
Goro Majima (Yakuza series)
Otherwise known as the ‘The Mad Dog of Shimano’, Goro Majima is as versatile as he is deadly. One moment he’s the protagonist and the next he’s the antagonist, and back again. You just never know with this immensely intelligent nutcase. He has many fighting styles with both thug and breaker being his natural selection. ‘Mad Dog of Shimano style’ is a combination of street fighting, melee weapons and… dancing. We said he was versatile and we weren’t kidding.
