During a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra performance in Tokyo, Tetsuya Nomura made a surprise announcement about an upcoming DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3. The DLC is called ReMIND, for now at least.
Not a lot of information was provided by Nomura during the orchestra, but we now know that the paid DLC will have a new scenario and additional episodes and bosses for us to beat. The Japanese will have an English voice-over option, which already has a few gears spinning about voice-over options this side of the world. The name of the DLC is also worth thinking about, as Kingdom Hearts has a history of wordplay with hidden depths of meaning. Remind could be linked to memories (Poor ol’ Sora’s noggin), but the MIND but makes me think there is something more to it too.
If buying DLC isn’t your thing, a new Keyblade and a new form are being added for free, which is pretty interesting. What form will Sora take next? Will we just get a Keyblade in the mail, or is there a bit of content for those not buying the DLC?
