When you’re the guy that brought thousands of fans some of the best Castlevania games of our time and your game receives negative feedback, you’re going to prove them wrong and fix it. Koji Igarashi has finally released a new video showing off what the extra time was used for when Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night got delayed from a 2018 to a, then, unannounced 2019 release.
As you’ll see below, he points out the various criticisms on social media that then follows through with a comparison video of what the game looked like in 2018 and what it looks like now. His team worked incredibly hard as the graphical improvements are impressive. It’s not just a simple texture improvement either. Some stages seem to have been completely redesigned with new elements appearing in it to bring a whole new atmosphere to what was once a little drab. Have a look for yourself:
With the trailer they also announced the eventual release date for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, which is 18 June 2019. The Switch version will release a week thereafter on 25 June.
