EA Access heads to the PS4 in July

PlayStation players have been very patient and hopeful that they would eventually one day see the Xbox exclusive service of EA Access appearing on the PS4 and come July that’ll finally happen.

EA has announced that the service will launch in July on the PS4 for the same price as the Xbox service. The library includes Anthem, Battlefield V, FIFA 19, Unravel 2, A Way Out and many more titles that requires you to pay a monthly subscription fee to get access to the various titles. EA Access members also get 10% discount on any newly released titles from EA that members might be interested in if they just can’t wait for the games to head to the vault.

Unfortunately it’ll exclude the various backwards compatible games available on the Xbox One as the PS4 can’t play games from previous formats in the PlayStation range. Your account on the Xbox One will also not work on the PS4, so if you want to take advantage of it on another console you’ll have to subscribe to it twice or wait for the Xbox version to expire.

If this is something that excites you then you can register to be the first to sign up when it launches in July.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
