Two Point Hospital developer gets snatched up by SEGA

Creators of the popular hospital “simulator” Two Point Hospital has been acquired by SEGA. Two Point Studio is led by talented creators from Bullfrog Production’s glory years and has used that knowledge to craft a continuation of Theme Hospital that turned the ridiculousness up to eleven. It’s a really funny and fun management game which does sound like an oxymoron, but that is what it is.

Because of the success of their game, Two Point Studios is now under the wing of SEGA who have been on a shopping spree for developers themselves. SEGA stated that Two Point Studios has a few “exciting unannounced projects” which means the team has some tricks under its sleeves for the coming future.

We can probably safely assume that this will mean more wacky management games with founder Mark Webley saying, “We’re looking forward to executing the next phase of our plans as we continue to evolve Two Point County” These guys are in it for the long haul and I can’t wait to see what their output will be like with the support of SEGA behind them.

I am way too tall, played way too many games and I love to write about what we love about games. In the end, I'm just being #Thabolicious
