Outer Wilds will have you solving solar mysteries on May 30

If you enjoy exploring space and solving mysteries, Outer Wilds is releasing next week. Not to be confused with The Outer Worlds, which also involves first-person adventures in space, in Outer Wilds there is a whole solar system trapped in a time loop. Whole planets change as time passes, with cities swallowed by sand, a world that is crumbling underfoot and large rotating puzzles, all before everything is devoured by a menacing black hole. Also, who can say no to planets that size just waiting to be explored?

Outer Wilds was crowdfunded thanks in a Fig campaign in 2015, with an impressive alpha showcasing what Mobius Digital is capable of. The alpha won the Seamus McNally Grand Prize and Excellence in Design awards at 2015’s Independent Games Festival.

Outer Wilds launches on May 30 for Xbox One and PC, with a timed exclusive on Epic Games Store. On Xbox One it will be available via Game Pass at launch.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
