Supermassive Games’ Man of Medan to frighten up August

Until Dawn developer, Supermassive Games has announced that Man of Medan will have us getting scared at sea on the 30th of August.

Man of Medan is the first instalment in the Dark Pictures Anthology, a horror series that will continue in the same vein of interactive cinematic horror that made Until Dawn tick, right down to the spider’s web of choices and consequences. Each episode will delve into a different sub-genre of horror.

In Man of Medan, players will be on a large ship out in the ocean. A group of divers has set out to find a WW2 shipwreck while on holiday. A storm rolls in and the crew gets suck on an abandoned ship full of secrets.

So stuck on a ship, WW2 secrets and a storm? I don’t see many of those divers surviving my first playthrough.

Man of Medan will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on August 30.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
