Probably one of the most anticipated games at the moment, the Final Fantasy VII Remake finally got a release date thanks to a trailer that showed during the Final Fantasy VII concert that was hosted by Square Enix at E3 in Los Angeles:
Yup, that’s right. The game will release on 3 March 2020 on PlayStation 4. It seems a long way off, but at least now we know exactly how long and painful the wait is going to be.
Other than the date reveal, the game also gives us a bit more insight on what we can expect in terms of gameplay and combat. It looks very smooth and fluid, obviously building what was done with Final Fantasy XV, but it still somehow seems fresh and new. There’s really not much more we know about the game at this stage, but we can expect to find out more about it during Square Enix’s Press Conference which takes place tomorrow morning (3 am here in SA).
