Rise of Azshara arrives on June 26

The wait for new content is nearly over. Many World of Warcraft players have been on autopilot, levelling alts or hunting achievements as they wait for the next big content patch and the wait is nearly over. Come June 26 Rise of Azshara will signal the arrival of the Naga Queen.

Blizzard is calling this the largest content update ever, with two new zones to explore, a mega-dungeon, a new raid, changes to the Heart of Azeroth system and finally unlocking flying in Battle for Azeroth zones, there will be a whole lot for players to do next week.

Game Director Ion Hazzikostas provided more details in a developer insights video, which dives into Rise of Azshara’s content and what players have to look forward to, as well as some discussing on how they balance and update content to keep things fresh and rewarding for players, as well as catch-up mechanics for new players or getting an alt ready for the next raid and a whole lot more.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
