CD Projekt clarifies it isn’t working on multiple Cyberpunk games

Thanks to Google Translate and a desire to know anything and everything about CD Projekt, the message about what company president Adam Kiciński was saying got somewhat garbled. The news was that he said: “We’re working on three Cyberpunk things—over the main game and over two more.”

However, the message was clarified later by email. “We currently have a total of five teams working on a number of projects, with three focusing on the development of Cyberpunk 2077. These include CD Projekt Red Warsaw and Kraków, who are handling the main game, as well as the Wrocław studio, where around 40 industry specialists are engaged in technology R&D.”

“A separate, dedicated team at the Warsaw studio is handling the development of Gwent. The final team is Spokko, which is currently working on a yet unannounced mobile project.”

So while things might definitely lead to further games, or big DLCs like what The Witcher 3 had, the story is slightly different from what Google Translate would have us believe.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
