Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will show off multiplayer on August 1

Infinity Ward is suggesting you leave August 1 open for a Twitch stream. The multiplayer component of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is going to be revealed.

The studio says that the stream will show how the game’s story will continue online, as well as the unified progression system works.

This Call of Duty will support cross-platform play and doesn’t have a Season Pass, meaning that the player base will have almost no fragmentation, and everyone can get involved when a new map releases, not just those who forked out for the extra pass.

So far there has been a small tease of what is in store with a 2v2 mode called Gunfight. If you are interested in how that looks and plays, you can watch one of the Call of Duty streamers who got to take it for a test drive.

Modern Warfare releases on October 25 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
