Capcom is porting over a lot of their games to the Switch and they made a surprisingly big deal that they’re bringing their oeuvre of Resident Evil games to the platform. Resident Evil 5 and 6 were recently announced as coming to the Switch, but we received no official dates until Capcom revealed them in an announcement. The games will be out on Switch on the 29th of October (you couldn’t wait for Halloween?) and will be priced at $30 a piece.
They also announced a triple pack for the Switch that includes Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 in one convenient $60 package. We’ve seen similar bundles on other storefronts and it’s great that the Switch is getting the same treatment. If you want to get a full collection of the Resident Evil games, it’s relatively simple with the bundles they provide.
All games will come with their DLCs and all the special edition content. Resident Evil 4 will come on a traditional cartridge while the other two games will be download codes in the box. Avid Resident Evil fans that want to take the risk of getting a heart attack on the train to work rejoice!
