Gears of War has always been a big hit when it comes to the multiplayer, but it’s single-player offering has been no slouch either. It’s always been extremely gripping and even Gears of War 4 came with some heart-sinking moments, which ended on quite a cliffhanger. The good news is that nothing will change with Gears 5 when it comes to the effort the developers have put into the single-player experience.
The Coalition’s multiplayer design director, Ryan Cleven, chatted to Game Informer to confirm that the campaign will be huge alongside a meaty multiplayer offering too.
Gears 5 is the largest Gears of War to date; it’s the largest campaign ever made, the largest PvE ever made, the largest versus ever made. The team at The Coalition is an extremely talented but focused team that believes in this game. They’re extremely passionate about bringing their mark, a high degree of quality, and a legacy that Gears fans will recognize.
If you need to catch up with the story in the Gears of War series then each and every game is available to play on Xbox Game Pass, so make sure to take advantage of that offering.
Gears 5 launches on PC and Xbox One on 10 September
