Ghostbusters: The Video Game remaster trapped with an October release

In May it came out of the blue that the 2009 classic, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, was going to receive a remaster for current generation hardware and an upgrade on PC. We now know that the game will be launching on 4 October.

If for whatever reason you missed out on the original release and you’re a fan of the two original movies, then this game is in essence the “third movie”. It stars all of the original cast and is officially voiced by Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson. Aykroyd and Ramis, who wrote the films, also contributed to make the game as ‘Ghostbusters 3‘ as you can possibly get.

Expect to catch ghosts using the proton pack alongside other players in this co-op game of up to four players. It was lots of fun in 2009 and we expect it’ll be a lot of fun in 2019.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
