Overwatch hits Switch on October 15

Blizzard’s popular hero shooter Overwatch is heading to the Nintendo Switch this year, dropping on October 15. Get ready to play as one of 31 heroes and take the fight with you when you travel.

The Switch version will let players make use of the console’s built-in gyroscopic motion controls, which I am told are the key to victory in other competitive shooters like Splatoon.

Overwatch is available as a download through the store or a boxed version, though the boxed version contains a download code. The game comes with a three month Nintendo Switch Online membership, so you are ready to hop into the game. It also comes with bonus skins so that you can start your collection of shiny cosmetics on a new platform.

Now the question is, do I need Overwatch on another platform? Or is being able to play it on the toilet worth leaving my cosmetic collection on another platform behind?

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
