Ikumi Nakamura is leaving Tango Gameworks

Ikumi Nakamura burst onto the scenes earlier this year at Bethesda’s E3 conference. Keanu Reeves injected much love into the show, but Ikumi ended up beeing the sweetest and most genuine human being that has ever set foot on a stage at E3 when she detailed the upcoming game from Tango Gameworks, Ghostwire: Tokyo. She is now leaving the studio after nine years.

A quick look at her聽LinkedIn profile and you’ll learn that she has quite a few accolades behind her name as she not only worked on games such as The Evil Within. Oh no, she also exposed her talents while at Platinum Games to create Bayonetta and worked on 艑kami as an environment artist at Capcom.聽

Wherever her next adventure takes her, we’re sure she’ll be a beacon of light in any studio. If you’re worried about Ghostwire: Tokyo – Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil creator) is still in charge, so we think it should be just fine. For now you can watch a video of that very special moment at E3 earlier this year.聽

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
