The release of Nioh 2 has been eagerly awaited by fans since it was announced at E3 last year. Since then, we’ve seen some gameplay, and some lucky few have had the opportunity to play a bit of the early build of the game in a closed alpha. Now, we finally have a release window for the game, which is expected to be in the first quarter of 2020 on PlayStation 4.
Announced via a stunning looking trailer at the Tokyo Game Show 2019, we get a glimpse into some of the enemies and character we can expect to encounter while playing the hardcore action RPG. Nioh 2 will feature a character creator that will allow you to customise your protagonist as you see fit. We don’t know much about the game yet, but there are suggestions that Nioh 2 might be set before the events of the first game.
We know Nioh 2 will be releasing on PS4, but there’s no indication of it releasing on any other platform just yet, even PC, which got a release of the first game a couple of months after the console release. We can expect to receive more news and information regarding the game in the coming months.
